We speak to change. We speak to accountability. We recognize the courage of Kaepernick who took a knee, risking his career while experiencing hateful attitudes of people who did not like his response to police violence in the black and brown community. My humanity, your humanity, our humanity is bound up in one another is a simple reminder that regardless of our race, ethnicity, gender, class, age, disability and so forth that we share this world together and affect one another with every words, every decision made, and the simple choice to love and respect all human life.
